The automated password reset function is part of the Common Functions of the Construction Services subsystem within ECMS. It allows the user to reset his/her own password through the system, without intervention from Help Desk personnel.
<p>In order for the automated password reset function to work, the user must have previously chosen a security question and entered an answer for it through the Change User Profile function. See the Help document Tell Me About...Change User Profile for more specific information.</p>

Description

The automated password reset function is part of the Common Functions of the Construction Services subsystem within ECMS. It allows the user to reset his/her own password through the system, without intervention from Help Desk personnel.

Quick Navigation

From this screen… perform this action:
Navigation bar Click Forgot Your Password? link.
Navigation bar Enter your own user ID in the User ID: field that opened after clicking on the link in the previous step. Click GO.
Automated Password Reset Enter the correct answer to the security question.

Enter a new password and confirm it by re-entering it in the confirm password field.

Click on Submit.
Password Reset Successful message Click OK button
Navigation bar Enter user ID and new password and click on GO or tap the Enter key.
