What right-of-way activities are envisioned to be included in Design-Build Best Value project?

• Answer:

The right-of-way activities that may be included in the Design-Build projects may be the preparation of the right-of-way plans; assisting the Districts in the preparation of the Fee Appraisal RFPs, as the Fee Appraisal contract must be with the Department, and not the design-build Team conducting negotiations; and, coordinating with Districts. Each project advertisement will detail the necessary services for the project (e.g., negotiation, relocation, etc.).
